I'm Prachi Gupta, currently a 3rd year student of Bachelors of Computer Science and Engineering at Guru Nanak dev Engineering College, Ludhiana. I belong to Jalalabad of Fazilka district in Punjab and have done my schooling from there only. I'm a Fresher with good problem solving skills and ability to perform well in team. I've always been passionate about learning new things. I am familiar with different languages like C, C++, Python & Java .And on web development side I am familiar with HTML, CSS, Javascript.My most extensive interests include programming,listening to music, watching cricket and reading books and news articles, no matter what I'm doing at college or working on in my free time, you'll always find me surrounded by books and computers.

From 2013 to 2018, I studied in S.N.N.S. Sarvhitkari Vidya Mandir.It is situated in my home town at Jalalabad. In this school, I enjoyed best phase of my academic life. I was the first student from our Vidya Mandir to qualify for Genius Examination(National Level Examination of Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Sansthan) and Narayana Talent Search Examination. From participating in various events and quiz competitions to getting top ranks in Matric examination all the memories I got here are special.

This school is one of the best government school in our district. During my time here, I got to meet many new friends and people. Except these, I also got chance to work in Atal Tinkering Lab (an Initiative by Govt. of India). I was also position holder in Senior Secondary Examination.

Currently I'm Studying at G.N.D.E.College at Ludhiana and I'm loving my time here. I got very friendly batchmates, inspiring seniors and supportive teachers. My friends here are so good that I rarely miss my home. I'm part of campus societies like Computer Society of India and E-Cell. I also got opportunity to serve as a Campus Ambassador for Internshala. I have participated in various online and on-campus events. I'm enjoying every activity here with desire to learn and grow.

Text Extractor

Extracting text from an image or some pdf is a difficult task. The main purpose of this project work is to develop a system that extracts text from images and PDF. I have used the Tesseract engine and pytesseract to perform all the text detection and extraction processes. Tesseract is originally written in C/C++. Python-tesseract is a wrapper for Tesseract-OCR Engine. It allows us to interact with the tesseract engine using python

This website is like modern websites and is responsive. I learned a lot during making of this site and I'm glad to be able to clone this almost near to original.
